Piglets

I really like piglets.  I like the way the word "piglet" sounds.

Lately there have been pictures of piglets and dogs in the news.

I still like bacon.

Other Than That, Mrs. Lincoln, How Was The Play?

Friday July 9, 2010

1. I wrecked my brand new car by backing into the neighbor's mailbox at high speed, in hurry to go back into our driveway to get my forgotten purse before going to hospital for #2.

2. Surgery on a young patient revealed a horrible malignancy much worse than expected. Must now help her prepare to die. She was not expecting this.

3. I have anxiety about my own upcoming surgery on July 26 for an abdominal alien. Guess I should eat some sashimi, just in case.

4. Sometimes life serves a shit sandwich and there are no substitutions for menu items.

I Hate Winter

There's an awful lot of holiday weight that needs to be lost.

I don't like winter outdoor activities.

Accidents happen even on the bunny slopes.

Someone always wants to turn the thermostat down even though I pay the gas and electric bill.

Too much togetherness inside leads to needless fighting.

I will go see if there are any leftover Christmas cookies.

I will eat them and then hibernate until spring.

Where Did She Go?

There used to be a very skinny woman who was always riding her bicycle or jogging in our neighborhood.  She was more than skinny.  You could see her bones and her face looked like Skeletor.  A neighborhood child once watched her until she disappeared off into the distance and said in a sad kind of way, "She looks like she needs cookies".

What she probably sees (saw?) in the mirror

We have not seen her in a while.  So this leads me to think there are two possibilities:

1.  She is dead.

2.  She moved away.

I hope it's the latter.  I better go get a cookie to prevent option #1 from happening to me.
